Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Cookies are used to remember information between pages and between visits, for example to keep you logged in.

3. What cookies NodeX Talent uses

We use two types of cookies. Technical cookies are always active — they are necessary for the platform to function and do not require your permission. In addition, if you accept it in the cookie notice, we store where you arrived from to know which distribution channels work, and a random identifier that lets us count how many different people view each offer; if you decline or don't respond, those two cookies are not written.

NameProviderPurposeDurationType
sb-* (Supabase Auth)First-partyKeep you logged inDuration of the session or until the token expiresTechnical
nx_cookie_consentFirst-partyRemember your response to this notice (accept or decline), so we don't ask you again1 yearTechnical
nx_attrFirst-partyRemember where you arrived from (campaign link, referring website, Google/Meta Ads parameters) to attribute your registration to the correct channel if you complete your profile. Deleted as soon as it is used, or after 90 days if you don't end up registering90 days (or sooner)Not technical — requires your consent
nx_vidFirst-partyCount how many different people view each offer, and avoid counting you multiple times if you reload or come back. It is a random number containing no data about you90 daysAnalytics — requires your consent

If you accept, nx_attr may contain: the source tag of the link you arrived through, the landing page, the website you came from (if any), and any campaign parameters included in the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, gclid, fbclid). It is only transferred to your profile — permanently, like the rest of your account data — if you go on to complete it; if you don't register, the cookie simply expires after 90 days without leaving any trace anywhere else.

4. What cookies we do NOT use

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies, nor external analytics tools such as Google Analytics or the Meta pixel. The two non-technical cookies listed above are proprietary and first-party: the data they collect never leaves here. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not share your browsing activity with third parties for commercial purposes, and we do not perform any device-fingerprinting identification technique (fingerprinting): the nx_vid identifier is a random number, not derived from your IP address or your browser's characteristics.

6. How to manage or delete cookies

You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Keep in mind that if you block session cookies you will not be able to log in or access your profile. The option to manage them is usually found in each browser's settings or privacy menu:

  • Chrome: settings menu, privacy and security section, cookies and site data management.
  • Firefox: settings menu, privacy and security section, cookies and site data section.
  • Safari: browser preferences, privacy section.
  • Edge: settings menu, cookies and site permissions section.

7. Cookies and mobile devices

If you access NodeX Talent from your phone's or tablet's browser, the same cookies described in this policy and the same consent notice apply; you can manage them from your device's browser privacy settings, just as on a computer.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the cookies we use or applicable regulations change. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
